Toplexil 150 ML - Syrup
Toplexil syrup contains Oxomemazine and Guaifenesin. Guaifenesin functions as an expectorant, increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of secretions in the trachea and bronchi. This may facilitate the flow of respiratory tract secretions, aiding ciliary movement to carry loosened secretions upward toward the pharynx.
Oxomemazine is a first-generation phenothiazine H1-antihistamine. H1-antihistamines interfere with the agonist action of histamine at the H1 receptor and are administered to attenuate inflammatory processes, treating conditions such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and urticaria.
Indications for oxomemazine syrup include reducing cough with sputum associated with allergic conditions.

How to use Toplexil cough syrup: Adult:
10 ml per dose, 4 times a day.
Children:
Child from 13 to 20 kg (2 to 6 years): 5 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day,
Child from 20 to 30 kg (6 to 10 years): 10 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day,
Child from 30 to 40 kg (10 to 12 years): 10 ml per dose, 3 to 4 times a day
Child over 40 kg (12 years old): 10 ml per dose, 4 times a day.
